Accounting and financial management of Followme2 Limited and Lansdowne Travel Management form a key and critical part of this work.

The Role:
We are seeking a Junior Bookkeeper to join our small friendly team in Cape Town. You will work directly with our Senior Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records and assist with various accounting functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their bookkeeping skills in a supportive, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping:
· Assist with data entry and maintain financial records
· Process accounts payable and receivable
· Assist with bank reconciliations
· Support month-end closing procedures
· General administrative support to the finance team
· Other duties as assigned by the Senior Bookkeeper/Finance Manager.
Debtors:
· Track and follow-up on outstanding client payments
· Engage in a professional manner with our clients to investigate any variances
· Maintain accurate and up to date debtor records and account statuses.
Requirements:
· Tertiary qualification in Bookkeeping/Accounting or studying towards one
· 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
· Basic understanding of accounting principles
· Computer literacy with experience in accounting software – Sage Intacct advantageous
· Travel industry experience advantageous.
