Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive (Domestic & Corporate) to join one of South Africa’s leading luxury hotel collections, based in Cape Town.
This exciting opportunity is ideal for a hospitality sales professional with a passion for building lasting client relationships and driving revenue across the domestic, corporate and conferencing markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing accounts and representing a prestigious collection of luxury hotels within the travel and hospitality industry.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a hospitality sales role
- Tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management, Marketing or a related field preferred
- Strong understanding of the South African hospitality and tourism industry
- Experience working with corporate, conferencing, retail, wholesale or PCO markets
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Professional, well-presented and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple client accounts
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel for client meetings and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities across domestic, corporate, conferencing and retail markets
- Conduct regular sales calls and client visits to build and maintain strong relationships
- Identify client needs and prepare tailored proposals and sales presentations
- Develop and grow the regional corporate client database
- Manage existing client relationships to maximise repeat business
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure successful implementation of new business
- Deliver product training and educational presentations to travel partners and clients
- Represent the collection at client functions, networking events and industry workshops
- Monitor competitor activity and identify emerging market opportunities
- Develop and implement creative sales initiatives and targeted action plans to drive revenue
- Ensure consistent follow-up and exceptional service throughout the client lifecycle.
