Your Purpose

As a Senior Africa Safari Expert, your role will go beyond planning safaris—you’ll be a guide, a storyteller, and a trusted advisor. You’ll craft bespoke journeys that immerse clients in the magic of Africa, ensuring every traveler feels inspired, cared for, and deeply connected to the experience.

What You’ll Do

Create Tailor-Made Safaris: Use your in-depth knowledge of African destinations to design exceptional itineraries that reflect client expectations, preferences, and budgets.
Build Lasting Relationships: Manage client interactions from the first enquiry to post-travel, providing expert advice and exceptional service at every stage.
Ensure Seamless Travel: Oversee all aspects of the booking process, including payments, logistics, and documentation, with precision and care.
Deliver Wow Moments: Go above and beyond to surprise and delight clients, creating unforgettable memories and ensuring their journey is truly one of a kind.
Meet and Exceed Targets: Achieve monthly sales goals while contributing to a supportive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who embodies a love for Africa and a deep commitment to creating extraordinary travel experiences.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A tertiary qualification in Travel and Tourism.
• 5+ years’ experience in the tourism industry, specifically selling African safaris.
• Strong knowledge of African destinations, logistics and properties.
• Proven success in a sales environment, working directly with clients.
• Familiarity with tools like Travelyst, WETU, and Google Workspace.

Skills & Attributes:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Resilience in a dynamic, fast-paced sales environment.
• Attention to detail and skill in managing complex logistics.
• A natural storyteller with a genuine passion for Africa’s wildlife, landscapes, and cultures.
• A self-starter with a positive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Driven sales and customer service skills.
