Inbound Tour Operator with offices in Cape Town and JHB. This position is ideally based in Cape Town but JHB may be considered.
Job Description:
- Creating, planning as well as executing and managing successful meetings, incentive trips, conferences and events for small to large groups within Southern & East Africa.
- Client relations and communication.
- Supplier relations and communication.
- Creating tailor made proposals in a timeous manner, ensuring a quick turn-around time to the client.
- Finance planning tailored to client requirements for each event; including but not limited to creating a detailed budget forecast, managing invoicing, payment schedules, payments to suppliers, on-site expenditure as well as post travel reconciliations.
- Logistics and travel arrangements for incentive travel itineraries including but not limited to management of international flight arrivals and departures, booking and management of all transfers and internal flights for all guests and staff.
- Activity/ excursion/ gifting/ entertainment management.
- On-site project/event management, both independently as well as within a team.
- Airport meet & greets.
- Attend workshops & site inspections.
- Creative and detailed client proposals.
- Invoicing, tracking of client and supplier invoices and payments.
- Detailed operations documents containing daily schedule of events and function sheets.
- Post travel reconciliations.
- Travel with groups when required.
Qualifications: Travel diploma an advantage
Skills:
At least 5 years experience in a similar role handling inbound groups. Strong organisational and logistical skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Attention to detail. Good problem solving skills. Drivers license essential. Own transport an advantage
Salary / Package: Negotiable depending on experience
