Inbound Tour Operator in JHB North.

• Build close relationships with all agents and with the International Sales Team
• Qualify enquiries and make recommendations according to the client’s requirements
• Prepare creative itineraries & proposals
• Prepare excel costings
• Ensuring high attention to detail is always maintained
• Focus on delivery excellence in customer service to agents and guests
• Striving towards exceeding targets
• Ad Hoc Groups: rate negotiations, negotiate terms and conditions, booking accommodation and services as required
• Pre-departure documentation and load bookings in Travel Studio for group operations as required
• Assist with annual allocations and brochure costings & as required, booking accommodation and services as required
• Ensure that all files are quoted and operated at an acceptable margin and profit level according to the company margin strategy
• Ensure VIP’s receive appropriate attention
• Escort Inspection Trips as directed by Line Manager
• Assist with all other reasonable requests where required.

Qualifications: Travel Diploma.

Skills: FIT’s & Groups at an intermediate to senior level in an inbound tour-operating environment for a minimum of 10 years. Creative itinerary design, quoting & sales. Excellent relationship building skills. Experience in hosting Special Interest Groups and Incentive Travel will be an advantage. Team work and be able to work autonomously when required. Good product knowledge of Southern Africa. Office/administration skills. Understanding of on the ground operations and excellent quality control. Good English communication verbal and written. Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure.
