We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior DMC Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strong understanding of the Southern Africa tourism landscape, exceptional client engagement abilities, and proven operational expertise in itinerary design and travel planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage high-quality, tailor-made itineraries across Southern Africa
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international agents and partners
• Handle complex travel requests with efficiency, creativity, and attention to detail
• Ensure seamless end-to-end travel planning, quoting, and operational execution
• Provide expert destination advice and product knowledge to clients and partners.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• Proven, hands-on experience using WETU itinerary building platform
• Strong working knowledge of Xcel/Xcell systems for quoting, costing, and itinerary management
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with international clients and agents
• Strong sales ability with a demonstrated understanding of how to effectively sell Southern Africa as a destination, including key regions, experiences, and product differentiation.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years experience in the inbound tourism / DMC sector
• In-depth knowledge of Southern Africa destinations, including South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Mozambique
• Strong product knowledge of lodges, hotels, and experiential travel offerings
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple requests, and meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
