Format & Costs:
The aim of the TravelPeople Connections is to ensure quality connections with quality buyers in a relaxed but controlled environment. The format is round robin and exhibitors have 10 minutes to engage with groups of 3-5 buyers at a time. The number of exhibitors is limited to between 10 and 15 to allow enough time for quality interactions. Connections usually run from 08h00 – 12h30, followed by a networking lunch. Our South African Connections are equally priced at R7 150 (excl. Vat). Windhoek will however be a full day event and the cost for Windhoek will be advised. This includes the Connection, as well as catering for up to two representatives. Exhibitors receive the full contact list of all attendees the day after the event.
Combo Deals: Book and pay for both of these Connections and pay a total of R12 584 excl. Vat (saving you R1 716).
- Cape Town & Johannesburg MICE Connections (20 May & 26 June)

Themed Connections in Cape Town & Gauteng:
- GENERAL – We kick-off the year in Cape Town & Johannesburg and re-connect with old trade connections as well as explore new trade relationships. You can expect to engage with a variety of both leisure and corporate trade as well as direct corporate buyers and conference/event organisers. [Please note: The Johannesburg Session has been scheduled to take place the day after Meetings Africa to save on travelling expenses for Exhibitors participating in the trade show.]. The connections in Nelspruit, Pretoria and Durban are not themed as we run them once/twice a year only.
- MICE – A focus on products specifically geared for the corporate market. Participating exhibitors can expect to only meet corporate agents dealing specifically with MICE, inbound tour operators & DMC’s with a MICE division, direct corporate buyers and conference/event organisers.
- WELLNESS & WINELANDS – The aim is to promote products in the wine regions of South Africa as well as products in all parts of the country offering spa’s or other experiences promoting healthy living.
